Just disgusting to think that a 12 year old is criminalised by basically liking pictures of people his own age.

Yes child porn sometimes involves abuse to produce. But pinning that on a 12 year old.

I suppose it depends on what he was looking at, but, if the pictures were simply kids of his own age, just kids his own age, no adults doing things to the kids (etc), I agree with you totally. Is he meant to find over 18s attractive?

Even if it was adults doing things to kids, even if it is sub-12 year old kids then it should be the adult in the video or the adults filming them being chased down, not the 12 year old looking at them!

On giving this further thought I see the 12 year old as making a simple error of childish judgment. Lack of parental guidance and supervision is to blame here. And I agree wholeheartedly about chasing down the true perpetrators. http://tinyurl.com/27u2cgb

I'm just disturbed that of the 35 people caught, 7 were teenagers.

At least it's good the police don't try and pad their numbers with inappropriate convictions because they can't find real criminals.... Oh wait...
