Do you ever check? I mean I'm sure about it, but I do, just sometimes, because I'm curious, decide to check what all the fuss is about. So I go and look and I find that I still don't know what all the fuss is about.

There are cute girls. Anyone who can admire beauty of any sort can see that they exist. They often have exquisitely svelte bodies, too. So why is it that, as soon as I see a naked one, however well posed, however shaved or hirsute, however gloriously proportioned and slim and glowing, I look at the business end and wonder what all the fuss is about? After all, this is beauty, isn't it?

So I should at least be able to recognise a beautiful vulva, and understand why a heterosexual version of me would find this a delight.

With a gentleman of similar age and svelteness I can see whether he is aroused. With a lady I can't. I wonder if that's it?

The answer isn't as simple as "You're gay! Get over it!" because I know I lost my virginity to a girl and I know I can have sex with them. So what is the answer? Because every tie I check I come to the same conclusion. Beautiful they may be, except for the business end. Erotic they are not. They are neater and tidier than males at the pudendum end, but they have flappy chests!

I know this will sound somewhat trite to some, but sometimes answers are this obvious. In nature, male arousal is a mating signal; think here of the peacock with his plumage, the lion with his main, et.

The truth, is in fact, that only we humans bedeck our females in clothing to make them attractive. It is a social convention, at least in these modern times, for the male to be dressed down in plain attire, and the female to don ornate and evocative clothing. It hasn't always been like this. Older eras allowed the male to strut his stuff in short skirts, elaborate costumes sometimes with cod pieces, which might be seen as derived from primitive loin cloths.

In nature the sight of an aroused male reminds other males that they are capable of orgasm and much of the time will inspire them to engage in masturbation or sexual acts with each other. This is not to say that the sight of a naked female isn't alluring, it is for many people (of both sexes) but the male in an aroused state is much more obvious and provoking of sexual feelings. (Hence the reason that porn is so addictive.)

For this reason human societies have for sometime banned the naked form as being obscene, an obscenity, I might add that every teenager seems intent on ignoring once he has reached puberty, at least until they have found a partner.)

Those males who have rejected the attraction of the male form are very likely to be those who are embarrassed at finding other men sexually inspiring in their aroused state, and so condemn homosexuality. This is quite unnecessary and is an illogical reaction.

If this condemnation is reinforced by religious indoctrination, then we may well find that they will become bigoted bullies.

Some of us, of course are going to find our genes respond exclusively to encounters of the same kind, and we should endeavour to understand that this too is perfectly natural, and indeed Tim, quite beautiful.

Being able to admire beauty is quite good. My boyfriend of youth was once smitten by a female maid. He was admiring her good looks and spoke of his sudden interest in that female. It was almost a natural thing for him, then he just let her go and returned to boys. Maybe it was something like the male equivalent of spawning. Maybe all males go nuts for a female once or twice in their lives, then calm down to the usual way.

... "Spawning", is it?

You too, Raymundo are a caution.

Perhaps you and Timmy share the same hairdresser, eh?

Sorry for the late reply, but my hairdresser is moving to London at the end of June. He's been my dresser for almost twenty years. London gets a quality stylist. Don't know who will do my hair now (actually, I do know and it's a rather attractive young lady).

Concurrence. I've done the same over my life. On an occasion I will take a walk on the other side and view the female form. I can appreciate beauty in lots of forms, including the female, but I don't respond the same way as I do with the male form.
It is easy to tell a beautiful woman from an average one, at least when my taste so allows, but there is little of sexual interest to it. A certain arousal may occur, but it pales in comparison to what I experience viewing a male.
I also 'lost it' to a girl, and I've also had a girlfriend for a while, and sex was not only possible, but fun. It just had nothing more to it than a sense of 'so this is what it's supposed to be all about?'
It also seemed a bit absurd and, well, icky.
I mean, we spend eight months trapped in there, why would we want to go back after only 13 or 14 years of freedom?
lol

Some would say that is the problem with marriage; it's a 'life sentence.'
