Every so often I enjoy a forray into the murky work of Tumblr.

For 17 December it says that explicit material will no longer be allowed.  Amusingly it already flags entirely wholesome material as 'sensitive', so this will be an interesting exercise.

I rather like the explicit sex available on Tumblr, but Xhamster and Pornhub provide 'the real stuff', and free.

A study indicated that a massive 22% of Tumblr's content was pornographic in origin. That's a lot of web traffic they are turning away. Some new porn-friendly Tumblr-like site will have to emerge to fill the gap. Perhaps they could call it Cumblr.

It appears that bots were also flooding Tumblr with porn that was also rather spammy.

I have a fondness for good porn

Tumblr is still flagging wholesome material as having adult content
