As you will have seen, we had a major service outage. Megaman and I are on vacation with limited internet access and spotted it this morning. UK, time. Our server was given a new cooling fan and there was a human error by the data centre in replugging critical cables. It happens.
We just solved the initial problem but the server is running VERY hot despite the new fan. We are pretty sure (0.9 probability) that this will lead to occasional outages at no notice in the next few days as the data centre solve this. It is, for them, a major problem. For us it is a minor annoyance. For you it's aggravating as can be.
So, fingers crossed, then!
