This is an absolutely stunning piece of writing by a writer I have not encountered before now.  It is the sort of story where, upon finishing it, I went directly back to the beginning and read it through again.  I am still struck with the wonder of it.  Be assured I intend to search to see if there are any other writings by Sean J Halford on the web. I hope there will soon be more here.

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
