KIA, the automaker, has begun airing TV commercials that point out the difficulties of homeless kids, especially now. They are giving a million dollars(US) to an assortment of non-profit partners to deal with Covid-19 issues. That's a lot of money, but probably a drop in the bucket of what's needed. I'm glad they are bringing attention to the problem, but my skeptical cynical side wonders if it's more about publicity than anything else. Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
