I'd like to add another recommendation for a published book, "Alex in Wonderland" by Simon James Green. I believe it's available both in print and on Kindle and comes recommended by Becky Albertalli, the author of "Love Simon".

The book has all the good stuff in it, teen awkwardness, longing, lonliness, love, friendship, humor, intrigue, mystery, fulfillment, and a final paragraph twist that brings it all together in a great story about typical teenagers just trying to make it in the world while they work at the local fun arcade.

Very good read. Enjoy Smile
