The first of June kicks off the official hurricane season here in sunny Florida. The prognosticators of weather in the US haven't scored a hit in years. They say this may be one of the worst seasons yet! Of course they have been sayng that for the past three years...and nothing. But why tempt fate, let's hope they are sucessfully wrong once again.

I contend we have worse things to worry about:

The sign is hilarious! If there is any correlation between the snow we got this past winter in the northeast and the severity of your summer hurricane season, hold on to your hat. It will be a humdinger. This was the first year I could snowboard for 5 consecutive months because we had that much snow.

Something to look forward to then! I've always wondered why people in the trailer-parks in the course of hurricanes don't move? - they are on wheels after all.

Here, in Godzone, we don't have hurricanes, just the occasional tornado, some volcanoes, floods sometimes and earthquakes! But no alligators Sad

cheers

Over in Santa Clarita and the San Fernando Valley, people get upset when a mountain lion or a bear eat their beloved pet. Nature is tough!
