Apart from "read/watch more porn" and "engage in relentless masturbation" what thoughts do you have for activities?

this first one is just one hour of years worth ROV dives into the deap oceans. Or shallow in some cases. https://youtu.be/6plyUxWiOMA
If this interest you there is also:
(Nautilus live) I think this EV is mostly a, Bob Ballard operation associated with WHOI and many others.
(Schmidt Ocean) they are still in their season down in the Oceans around Australia... lotta cool stuff. Probably have a a live stream tonight. If not in the next few days.
If nothing else it's a great way to induce 😴 😏. For me, it takes me back to the days when I worked on research vessels. Never worked with ROV's though. There were only a hand full out back then.
doing the funky monkey 🐒 everyday 🤔 I can see calluses becoming a prob... Even with lube 😳😜 have fun guys.
OH and I still try to walk 4 miles 6 days a week.]]>arich2020-03-23T22:39:31-00:00Re: National Lockdown Suggestions Please

Fortunately, there's plenty to do around the house. The garden has reached the point of needing maximum attention, so a spot of digging, and a spot of weeding. Lots of sowing seeds, mainly indoors, and looking after the resultant seedlings. My "weed gun" flamethrower for the path has stopped working, so I've ordered an electric one, to clear the path and patio before anything gets too deep rooted. The raised beds need another coat of wood preservative, as does the shed ...
It's also the time of year when I usually do some DIY project. This year, it's sorting out the back loo. The door is stupidly-designed, and opens so as to obstruct the back door to the kitchen, so I'll be replacing it with an inward-opening bifold door (on order, due for delivery tomorrow). The taps need changing from screw-type to lever-type, so they're easier to operate with muddy hands when coming in from the garden. And a coat of paint wouldn't go amiss - though I've only lived here six years, and it was freshly decorated when I bought it, the back loo is where I clean up if I'm filthy from doing messy things, so has got rather grubby.
All that, and I'm refusing to think about "spring cleaning" (though I did notice that the bathroom curtain could do with a wash ...).
Nothing very major there. But I'm really limited in what I can do at a time, due to dodgy back and angina, so even the simplest tasks take careful planning, and a very large number of breaks. If the weather continues as glorious as today, these may involve mugs of coffee and sitting on the pation with the cat on my lap.]]>NW2020-03-24T20:30:33-00:00Re: National Lockdown Suggestions Please

We recently purchased a motor home, not sure what the UK term for that is. Caravan is a trailer? Maybe you use the same word for both. Anyhow I've been busy doing little things to and for it so as to make sure we've all the necessary things stocked in it for convenience sake when we camp or travel. Of course I'm also doing a lot more reading than usual to try to fill the extra hours. So far between those two occupying items I seem to be able to fill the days.]]>Teddy2020-03-24T23:13:42-00:00Re: National Lockdown Suggestions Please

I decided to make use of flights of steps. I have a very steep back garden. Today, according to Apple's iPhone health app I have climbed 50 flights. I know of 40, because those were the ones I set myself. The oher ten are because we have no downstairs toilet or I ran errands in the house.
May as well exercise my legs as well as my hands!]]>timmy2020-03-24T23:41:26-00:00Re: National Lockdown Suggestions Please

In real terms this means I have walked from my home in South Devon some 20 miles past Edinburgh Castle
I have also climbed, according to the app, 26,183 metres in this period, whcih seems to be 85,903 feet, or 16 and a quarter miles. But that part of the app is extremely variable, especially when it tells me I have descended 28,895 metres!
Who knew it would take a pandemic for me to get fit!]]>timmy2020-06-17T21:35:57-00:00
