for making a person feel as worthless as infinately possible...

I did not place the post to garner a useless mass of responces...

I placed it to make you aware that the "time restraints" are extreemily annoying and inconveinent.

Yes, sometimes I am crude in my method of phrasing a post. I never said I was an eloquent with language.

I do not need the attention you so aptly accuse me of gathering.

I am through with it all!

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...
Actually, what gives you the impression this was about Garrets post?  [message #11549 is a reply to message #11538] Thu, 19 June 2003 23:55 Go to previous messageGo to next message

I think it was because during that time everybody in the board was talking about Gerret's problems and then his thread got moved to the second page. Well i think logically everybody assumed you were talking about Gerret.

I wasn't aware of that minor "bug" (if indeed it is really a "bug" at all); thanks for pointing it out. Even so, though, if a given thread generates a great deal of response, it still takes quite a while for it to be relegated to Page 2, by which time it has probably already gotten most (if not all) of the response it's going to get (and, as smith noted, they will often have already become so long and complicated by then that it makes it quite cumbersome).

Again, three cheers (at the very least!) for Tim and Macrule!!!

You chose the phraseology and the battle was yours. You fired the opening shot, you continued to fire shot after shot despite being asked to desist.

One who perpetually fires shots cannot then turn it round and cry "foul".

I love you dearly, which you may or may not believe. It is the extraordinary behaviour that I do not like.

I am very sorry that my posts have caused any controversy about if this board is any good or not. Whether this board has glitches and problems, I still love it. Mechanical problems dont matter because all I came here for was answers, friends, and people that care about me. And thats what I got. So stop complaining and relize that this board helps people! Just everybody stop fighting.

This is just simple childish dialog between grumpy (adults ? ) young garrett--has nothing to do with you except that your name got mentioned.BY the way,how are you doing? I still would like to be a fly on the wall when you put shaving cream in your dads sack. That would be a positive step in your quest for freedom...rob

smith--snapping marcs elastic band on his panties really is clean fun.Perhaps childish, but what the hell.Amoungst other things, this board SHOULD be a place where we all can have some fun.Of course not hurtful play.I know that words can hurt.I can write a book on that.If someone on this board is hurtful,to return that hurt is not good.Instead, lets all smother the grump with love and kindness. That gets them every time...rob

OK, only you know if you are underweight, but if you don't have an eating disorder then your body will sort itself out, pretty much

Which is the first step. Your body doesn't seem to like food right now but you're trying to make it. This can be hard, I know, I've had a friend with the exact same problem- he just couldn't eat, not that he didn't want to, his body just didn't. Eventually he went to the doctors, though, and they gave him some medication that got him eating again, if you want I'll give you his email address. In fact this guy is a soccer player from Manchester and is moving to Osaka soon to play in the J-League.. What a small world... I do think this eating thingie is something you should/ could see doctors about, even though your past you want to keep secret.

I just think some things are inappropriate to be posted, especially publically, towards a boy who has been abused when you don't know the nature of abuse and which things can hit on a senstitive nerve... There are also memebers of the community that your comments could have offended topically.

Anyway, it isn't the intent of this place to have crude jokes floating around, this is meant to be a place of safety. While I think humour expressed between members is a good thing and while I myself appreciate suggestive, crude jokes occasionally, this is not really the place. I feel it takes away from what the place stands for.

So, if you want to talk to me on AOL Instant Messenger (which you can download from http://www.aim.com) feel free, my screen name is 'Saben the 4th'. We can exchange as much casual banter as you like. But for now, please let's keep that thing away from this place.

all hail the King of this message board.Let all bow and humble ourselves before our master--Lord Saben..Dear gentle sir we have had words before and that was an unpleasent experience.YOU have suggested a private word off this board via e-mail.That should have been done before you posted before.THIS REPLY SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN AS A FLAME.My lifewalk, the things I have done and perhaps left undone entitle me to a decent respect to the opins of my peers. Many on this board have gently at times reminded me to modify my responses.Others really jumped on my case. But ALL have done so with grace and good wishes. You sir,I note venom and biased judgement.I fimd that unacceptable.I hear your words as a ill wind, without care or compassion. With all due respect sir, your words fall on deaf ears.HAVE A NICE LIFE..rob

Really getting into it

Well, I don't think that's what this board is about. Read the top of the page again, please, my friend. Fun isn't mentioned.

Please consider Garrett's point of view (which it DOES say to do at the top of the board.) He is new here and came here looking for someone to talk seriously to about some very personal stuff. I sounds like it was tough for him to speak up in the first place, and I am proud of him for that. We know he's been abused, and he doesn't trust adults much, but except for a few he's gotten to know better, that's about all "we", the general board readers, know.

You imply an interest in having sex with him and say:

"i wasnt kidding.hehehe---i could use another slave in my cold cruel empire.lots of bondage, whippings and assorted outrages too numerous to mention.oh and the gruel I feed to my subject slaves will grow hair on ones tongue...rob"

Hell, I wasn't even playing with myself yet at 14, let alone know how to handle old dudes who may or may not be coming on to me, or bondage. I'm not saying treat him like a baby which he certainly isn't, just realize "where he is" in life.

*I* know your joking and just having fun, Rob, but you can do that with those of us who understand and appreciate your fun. Just like Andy and Garrett can say "shut up" to each other - they know that that has a different meaning and implied jokingness that others may not catch. I'm not saying we should only talk to those in our age group - I'm saying we need to consider how our words will be taken by those we write to.

Saben was reasonable above, there was no personal attack, he wasn't ordering you around.

We all have needs and "issues" to deal with, but while you, Rob, can deal with almost anything "verbal", and even learn from "negative" comments sometimes, not everyone is like that.

Just think about it, K, hon? You know I only play with the nice boys!

in no way was there any suggestion of sex or bondage.Afterall,I just got through turning Garrett into a frog.PS im not into frogs although I think their cute but not in a sexual way.I still think you guys(with all due respect) take yourselves too seriously and respond with a kneejerk reaction.Further, and again with all due respect,I do offer respect and compassion to these youth and credit them with the smarts not to take offense. Now I will spell that out.I just think that these kids display more smarts than some adults on this board.Robert is just a tease, harmless at best. One other thing--I make it a practice to read a post several times before commenting.I have a good if not excellent grasp of symantics and word context and can easily understand and comprehend what people say without bias.printed words are pretty clear,it being a waste of time taking words and a persons meaning out of context.I dont grease my words as I need that grease for other things....rob
