Nor, I think, did the USA. there are schools that are fully co-educational, that are totally single gender, and in the uK, have a sprnkling of the "other" gender during the last 2 years of education.

Editing of what system??? and why????
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

I've suggested editing before and the case has been closed. Posts will never be allowed to be self edited here due to the potential of people going back and changing something they said... I wasn't very clear, I was daftly trying to fit everything in the title line only...
Look at this tree. I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time [...] No matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.

original post self-editing by the original poster can be a good thing. For the life of me,I cannot see how this editing could possibly be abused. The ability to reclarify a post by the originator might clear up some misunderstandings...I have seen with my own eyes just how such a feature helped another board. The self-editing ended a lot of hard feelings.Speaking from personal experience, many of my posts should have been self deleted and I can think of some others.....rob
