Agreed, Cossie, "with perhaps a little sex on the side" is slightly ambiguous in the context of marital infidelity. You were right on the meaning of the original statement, however: I simply meant "a little sex as a less significant aspect of the relationship".

I think that's my final word on this topic.

Let me say, though, one pedant to another, that while I am generally impressed with your use of ellipsis, I am distressed by the number of dots in the title of your post "Nah, sorry .....". Smile

I should think that a person needs to be somewhat non virginal to comment on the significance of sex in a relationship.

To make an evaluation without imperical data to back up the comments is kind of like a blind person comparing red to blue.
