Dear Rutlust (Your name shows humor right there I think..),
This all passed over my head originally, didn't pick up on a hurtful tone.. though I got the word, i missed why the joke, except on cossies screen name I supposed.
reading it all again (umpteenth time)it does sound like a poke at cossie's playfully saying we should protect brian from bad words.. just a poke, a playful prod..like a good natured sparring, playing words off of other words..
now i know you are a vegan & could've been offended further up the thread..
i just don't see what all the hubbub is about.
we each have been joking, kidding, & making humor..
even cossie said "If taken literally.." which isn't the theme of this thread at the present place...
cossie said brian 'should be cossetted & protected'. you said 'if you mean spoiled i agree'. don't see where you called brian spoiled directly. sounds like you approve not shielding a child from coarser words. as if he doesn't know them by now!! hahaha
lets make ammends so we can all still be friends! misunderstandings do occur even among friends of like mind..
seems anyone could be offended at about anything said in this thread, if so inclined. I still don't see malice here.. maybe someone will clarify it..
