What I like about the clip there is that it is mild comedy without a laugh track, with minor drama, and with (initially) a black guy who is gay.

I acknowledge NW's comments completely while disagreeing with him over comedy, its history and campness. I see this set of clips as a highly advanced comedic portrayal of a gay man in fairly real and amusing situations. What surprises and pleases me is that it is a US show.

The show is called Greek and now its in season 2, I wish someone would upload the entire storyline to youtube, the show is mainly a drama but has a lot of comedy. The US is capable of realistically portraying gays. (If anyone does not believe me watch ATWT Luke’s story part 71-75) The problem for conservatives is showing intimacy between two men. Liberals are starting to see how much the minority of extreme conservatives hate gays in general which has to do with the increasing presence we have in society. After all every gay man isn’t behaving like a woman and every gay woman isn’t acting like a man.

To continue: gay black people need a positive realistic portrait more than most because the majority of their community is more harmful to gays than the rest of American society. Most people who suffered during the civil rights movements are dead, senile, or disassociated themselves from gays for their own empowerment. So they are really of very little help. The fact that gays helped Martin Luther King JR and his followers escapes history, which helps isolate gays from blacks more.
