I guess on examination of my post, it would seem that way, Jim. Although that was not my intent. I was fascinated by a name someone used as a nick for this forum and the fact that it seemed so appropriate here.

And, Bo Nobo, if I managed to make you feel embarrassed, as opposed to welcomed, I truly apologize. I am happy you are here - and the depth of your input says you have much to contribute. Welcome aboard.

It didn't occur to me at all to be offended! Bo Nobo is a nickname (based vaguely on bits of my real name) that I got because my friends say I try to settle everything by being affectionate! I think bonobo's are wonderful animals - nothing offensive about being named after them or compared to them Smile

Well, Bo Nobo,

what a wonderful characteristic - that you want to settle things by being affectionate!

I do too! And I hope without being patronising I can say you are marvellous to me. How very nice it would be to get to know you!

Love,
Anthony

Affectionate response to altercations is fine...

Until the point where you are lying in the gutter, broken, bleeding...

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Thanks Marc. I think we all needed to be reminded of that. NOT.

My intent was to remove that which was genuinely offensive. I have been away. I would like this to be resolved without my intervention because I have enough on my plate at present.

I will involve myself only if you ask me now I am back.

WE can deal with this when you are settled back in and get things calmned down at home. Welcome back.
