This place of safety has become very important to me in the last two or three months. Being without it for several days is going to be taxing, but I hope, not impossible to live with. It will return to life like a phoenix rising from the ashes, after all...

At least I expect my Brother in Spirit to return from his boyfriend's place today, so hopefully I'll have him to chat to instead. Still wracking my brain over the fact I don't have anyone to care for in my life, but I'm trying to push those thoughts away as best I can, just for the moment at least.

I have also begun lifting weights at the gym now too, which keeps me a bit busy, head was nicely clear and (almost) free of bad thoughts yesterday evening after coming home. Feeling a little sore in my body, but it's not too bad. Nothing like when I tried my hand at 'bodypumping' (group training with light weights in concert with music; I was wasted for three days afterwards)... Smile Of course, that was before I had started biking, so I was totally out of shape. Now I expect I'd do much better if I was to try again. (My weight is now circa 85 kilos, and I'm really starting to feel rather slim. I'm not there yet, but so close I almost can smell it! YUM! Why didn't I do this years ago??? I was so stupid, it's not even hard...)

Adoptive father will come visit me tomorrow, to help me with the things I wasn't able to fix last friday. I'm supposed to wash a hamper full of dirty clothes in the morning, I'll have to set the mobile alarm so I'll wake up in time! Heh.

I'm getting some writing done too. Part three of "The First Son" is coming along nicely, but there's still a lot that needs to be done. Have also amassed a nice collection of Winamp skins and AVS presets, so I've got plenty of eye candy to choose from too. Not much to sustain an existance on I agree, but it's always something. I have to make do with the means I got to my disposal...

OK, 5pm UK time we switch this board off, and wait for the site migration. The new site has to WORK and the domain name be propagated worldwide before the board gets turned on again. We expect 4 days maximum without the board, BUT life has a habit of biting you in the arse, so we will have to see what happens

I will send a mass email to all subscribers to the list saying "Back on the air" as soon as we are

Not sure if anyone manages to read this before it happens (if you don't, it'll be old news when you finally do see it, haha!).

Anyway, I just want to say how glad I am this place exists. It truly is an oasis in the desert, a place without equal on the internet, at least in my experience.

A true testiment to the wonderful nature of it's host. Tim, I know you said earlier you didn't want to be revered, but to sort of quote John Cleese/Monty Python: thank you very, very, very veryVERY much...! I really mean it.

See you all in a couple days.
