Had a great day with my wife exploring old churches. Bought the video of Harry P. Dinner with friends. Daughter home for the weekend.
And spotted a real (unintentional) funny in a freebie about courses run by the local authority: the first course listed under the heading "Parenting and family" was "Egyptology (women only)" !!! How to become a good mummy?
And came back to some excellent postings on this board.
What more could one want? Strange how some days really take off. Smile with me!

Absolutely, I have no problem smiling with you today (actually by now it is yesterday). I had a pretty damn good day myself. I am now officially an internationally renowned amateur chef. My wife is Filipina and some of her relatives are visiting from the Filipines. We had a potluck dinner at the inlaws' house. I served up a batch of my famous cinnamon rolls. Not just any cinnamon rolls, these were stuffed with peanut butter, honey, banana, raisins, and chocolate chips. Not to mention the bourbon flavored cream cheese topping. Not a crumb was left. Now they want me to ship them a batch when they get back to the Filipines. Why I let my mother and grandmother talk me out of going to school to become a chef is one thing I'll never understand.
Think good thoughts,

The prom lasted way over into today so I count
it as very happy day. We danced and danced, rode
in a huge limo and ate yummy seafood on the
sand by the Gulf. Yes,indeed, neat day all around.
Life is good !!

Yep another happy bunny. I work in a store during the week in the evening, today I had a phone call from my boss asking me to go in and work on the cd counter as they were having a promo on 'Harry Potter' vids and dvds, I love my Sundays, so I told him no. My bro had his m8 stay the night, I had my bf stay the night, we all went for a run this morning even my Dad came with us, old geeza hehe. This aft we all watched the Austrian GP on the box, what a farce that finish was. I even managed to chat to Adam on MSN. They've both gone home now, I have a driving lesson at six and I feel great, a really good day.

I am now exiled, stranded somewhere in the United States, where the "Harry Potter" video won't be released until a week from Tuesday! I miss Hogwarts, and my "mother" Hagrid!

I thought you were in Romania. But it's worth waiting for, though obviously it's better on the big screen. And don't miss the two short extra snippets at the end, right at the end, after the credits. Or at least they're there on the Philosopher's Stone; I hope they're on the Sorcerer's Stone too.
