It struck me suddenly. So many bigotted churches have websites with prayer boards, places where you can post a prayer.

Let's start a simple thing. A prayer a day on a prayer request board asking for acceptance of people of all sexual orientations.

A subtle way of beating the religious nuts at their own game, for to read a prayer is surely to say it!

Great Idea, but do you have any addresses? I don't generally look for such boards. They just seem much too hostile.

Think good thoughts,

Ewww, yeah. I was raised in the Southern Baptist tradition. That's probably the biggest reason I don't go to church much anymore. I do still believe in God, though. Just not the one they describe.

What a horribly odd combination of words:
Bigotry&Faith.....must make God sigh and want
to start over again.

To read a prayer is to say it, yes, but to
say it is not always to mean it. Perhaps the
archangels sit at huge computer monitors
clicking the delete button and filtering out
all the junk mail. A simple prayer for
acceptance might make it through.
