It will take a little time to implement, but, during the discussions on this story I have not been deaf to the need expressed by people to make the warning element stronger.
People have said to me "Of course we just skip the warnings. They are so much prattle."
So, my co-webmaster has been researching how to make the story warning as close to mandatory as can be without passwording a part of the site.
We have a solution which will be tested during the weekend and will go live as soon as it works. it wil mean that a posotove indication that the warning has been read will be required for this story.
It does not mean that someone will have genuinely READ the warning. What is means is that they SAY they have read it. This will not answer all my critics, for whom only absolute removal will suffice. It will, however, make it abundantly clear that the story has special characteristics which require a conscious choice and decision to read.
It will not prevent the story being included in the site seaqrch engine, but is intended to redirect a reader to the warning page wherever possible if they access the story via the indexer.
In other words, I will not remove the story, nor will I make it harder to find, nor will I password it. I will simply make the warning more prominent if it proves technically possible to do so.

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

We have some work remaining to solve the technical challenges.
I take Cossie's point on board as well about the imperfection of any such scheme.
We intend to close the front door first, the back door second, and the windows third. It wil still be circumentable. However we excpect that circumvention will require an expertise that is disproportionately great to reading, or acknowledging that one has read, a warning.

If it were meerly tales of unsavory sex that were the problem it would be simple.
I'm sure you understand what could possibly have happened if the wrong person had read that at a particularly fragile time.
And, just look at that thing I asked you to hold for me.... It would be difficult I think to find a string of words more rancid than those. Yet yhe door there is well enough concealed to keep the unwary safe.
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

It is imperfect, but the front door is closed.
The back door and windows will follow but that issue is more complex. Time is required. The lack of back door and window security is the imperfection at present

The story is now locked away totally on the site.
Even if you KNOW the URL, even if you access the story from the site search engine, and even (soon) when Google and other search engines find it, you are forced to see the warning page.
Naturally this does not mean that you will READ the warning. It means that you must both check a box and press a button to SAY that you have read the warning.
The S&M and Adult/youth nature are made obvious in the text of the "I wish to proceed" page.
This project is now concluded. However an email of congratulations to megaman@iomfats.org
