Getting started

I would imagine that I am not the only one who is quite awestruck by the delicacy with which smith is handling a very beautiful (and tricky) situation in his story "Just Hit Send". Am I alone in hoping that the author will avoid the pitfall of "grappling sex" and keep to the theme of love rather than sex? I very much look forward to part 8. This is a singular story told in a singular way.

You know, sex, when and if it comes in this story, will be handled beautifully. But am I alone in seeing passion and sexual imagery all the way through it?

and I think he's doing a wonderful job. He should write it the way he wants it written. Should he choose to make it more explicit, I think he'll do it well. If not, it's his choice.

Think good thoughts,

I read this the other night, at the prompting of someone special Smile I was a little upset in chapter 6 and I aligned myself so closely to Danny that I had to break from it for a while so I could get myself back together.

I know how he felt and I will read more as it comes along. I found it rather unusual and I like it. Smile

I, for one, think this story is beautifully written, sensitively handled and I love the feeling of expectation. I don't think sex is always necessary in a story - the warm feeling of friendship and love is just as powerful.

Thank you all so much for liking my story. I'm going on instinct alone here, so graphic is not part of my vocabulary.
I'm just writing what I would like to feel. What my heart tells me Danny and Jordan would want. To kiss, to touch, the total inability to breathe or think when they are together.

I had an e-mail that read:
"This is so boring. Get to the sex."

So, your vote of confidence means the world to me Smile

If that writer finds it boring, then let him go seek the action he craves from some other website.

Right from Chapter 1, I get the feeling that if and when anything sexual happens between Jordan and Danny, it will be in their own good time and on their own terms. It will be in no ways gratuitous, but rather will be a natural expression of their feelings for each other.

A thing of beauty is a joy forever, "Hoppergrass"; and your story is an eternal joy!

Pay them little heed, young smith. In fact, let's hope this was your one and only unsupportive email.

You know we know you're doing nothing wrong in the way you tell YOUR story.

smith, I would like to add MY thanx for your penning this story (so to speak). I read it and was so taken in by it that I had to stop reading for a while until I had my emotions under control.

I once lost a friend over something I had no control over and walked away with a heart they weighed as much as plutonium and looked back to see him telling me to f**k off and keep going. I felt Everything Danny did in that split second. Hugs for the understanding retort. Smile

Follow your instincts and let Danny and Jordan help you tell the story.

Reassure them that they do not need to rush things. Because the journey they are on is beautiful and there is so much time.

We are privileged to travel with them and admire the unfolding scenery.

Oddly smith received a few flames about "Getting to the sex". I expect the flamers wil lno wbe critical of the way he got to it.

But oh wow. I was there as i was first seduced and then seduced each of the characters. and now I am in danger of revealing the plot. But I both kissed them and had mine kissed.

Some are visible and some are internal. Both were kissed.

This is heavily erotic by what it leaves to the imagination.
