Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

I interpret "undecided" as meaning someone who is receiving conflicting or confusing signals about their sexuality which makes it impossible for them to identify theselves as definitively gay or str8.

Perhaps "uncertain" would have been a better word.

In contrast, "asexual" suggests someone who doesn't receive signals at all and "bisexual" suggests someone who receives different sets of signals depending on who they're with.

Then you are old enough to know that you have a predisposition toard one sex or another.

Timmy was just leaving open the possibility that not "everyone" can self identify within the reamaining catagories. Obviously Marc, myself, and probably Nick identify ourselves in one of the others listed.
But most likely he was trying to make room for all the folks that might stop by. Not really a bad thing. Even if the words might technically not quite fit perfectly. Who knows, maybe someone will use one of those two and surprise us all.

Makes for good debate though, eh guys?

Kevin
P.S. Heads up call Marc, I didn't even notice at first.

But a poll will always be imperfect.

Hpwever, SELF PERCEPTION shows that one can say "I am undecided about how I perceive myself"

It is not that one does not KNOW. One may KNOW. But the decision is about self perception, not about orientation. I spent many years undecided, despite knowing deep inside I was gay.

So, the questions are not perfect, but they are not invalid

Exactly, well put about undecided. I spent many years in what i guess you would call "denial" until recently. I'm so glad i've finally accepted who i am, which is quite simple "ME".

I also spent way to much time in denial. If asked my orientation then, I would have either lied, or said unknown. DEEEEEP down though, I found the real me. Sure glad I did!

Best wishes to all,
Kevin
