We risk a bit of ourselves
When we tell...
We look into the eyes of someone we love
When we tell...
We make our first friend in total honesty
When we tell...
We say to our family, "this is me"
When we tell...
We bravely step past the fear
When we tell...
We connect with him for the first time
When we tell...
We are truly free.
When we tell.

The purpose of this poem is really to show that no matter how impossible or frightening it seems now, their is life after disclosure. Many good things come from this journey though it's hard to see them now. Each of us must take these risks at our own time and our own comfort level.
But once you do, I am sure you will find some of the same positive things in your life that so many of us have found in ours. Not everything will be perfect, but rarely is the reality ever as bad as what we think it will be.
Good luck to you, and I am here to support you whatever you decide.
Your in my prayers,
Kevin
