I just heard it in the news. She died this morning. She and Ian Brady tortured and killed at least 5 children. He remains in jail. She died after 36 years in jail.

It will be hard to mourn her

Somehow this goes with my page about personal safety.

My faith says I should ask for mercy for her soul. I do. I ask for the same mercy that she showed her victims.

She and Brady are little known outside the UK.

Were they plain crazy people whi just liked to rape and kill (I say crazy, in the sense surely anybody with their mental faculties in fully working order would agree it's crazy to rape and then murder children), or was there any kind of reasoning behind it?

If this had been Darmer you would all know. Possibly you would know about Fred West. This one was as bad, perhaps worse.
