Sometimes protests work! A singer has cancelled a show in which he was to appear together with Ariel Zilber (who made some very anti-gay remarks - see many items below). Shlomo Gronich said, "After much hesitation and very sadly I contacted Ariel and asked not to have the show. I love and admire him as a musician and would very much like to work with him, but on the other hand he said things with which I do not agree and cannot accept." Ittai Pinkas, the chairman on the Homo-Lesbi Association said, "We welcome this decision by an artist that the [Homo-Lesbi] community admires and loves not to appear with Ariel Zilber.



Also, the TA municipality cancelled a performance by Zilber for similar reasons. Ariel Zilber refused to comment on the cancellation.

or even less Palestinian and Israeli Teenagers were meeting together, going out together and learning to see each other as humans beings, brothers, just teenagers - Hard to believe that the reality of peace got so close - and then???

I know its complicated but seems to me that a small minority of finatical extremeists mostly Palestinians but Israel has it's share of them too, have been able to totally sabotage What the majority really want on both sides and have taken a non event and whipped the masses into a frenzy - which just feeds on itself - Unfortunately as they say over here close only counts in horseshoes and thats not the game your playing over there - JUST BE CAREFUL
