Well, it's in the middle, but since this is about coinage you must mean that new-fangled twelve-shilling coin our continental cousins have introduced. It shows GB in the centre of the universe (which is of course correct!) What else am I supposed to notice, apart from the mysterious disappearance of Africa?
(Btw, I'm really a Europhile, and I wanna wanna wanna join the EMU - provided the time is right, naturally!)

For a' that an' a' that,
It's comin' yet for a' that,

It's one of the new-fangled twelve-shilling coins our continental cousins have introduced. It's quite pretty, and it shows Great Britain in the middle of the universe, which is of course quite correct. Africa seems to have disappeared, but what the hell ....

Now tell me what all this is about!

I can't tell if it is natural or cut though.
Not naughty, but also not spoken about in polite company.  [message #692 is a reply to message #689] Sat, 02 February 2002 14:55 Go to previous messageGo to next message

At least Norway appears to be uncircumcised!

That's not Norway! It's because Norway isn't there that
you get the, uh, effect. Norway isn't a member of the EU.

If Norway is male, does that not mean that Europe has been emasculated?
