At the risk of boring everybody, I would like to point out that the purpose of the e-mails you are asked to send is to soften up the Prime Minister. Very soon the representatives of Israel's gay community have a previously arranged meeting with Sharon and they want to be able to get him to act on behalf of this couple knowing that thousands of people all over the world are expecting him to show compassion.

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
