I found that the soundtrack to "Unbreakable" was just what I needed to be able to complete my writings yesterday. I picked up the $20 CD yesterday (US import, blaaahh), and it's totally amazing. I also took the opportunity to order Sigur Rós' album "Von". Should arrive in about two weeks, lol...

James Newton Howard has written a wonderful score for "Unbreakable", it has several strong themes, each distinctly different and unique, with an awful lot of power in them. Think John Williams here, when Richard Attenborough stands in a green grassy field and declares, "Welcome, to Jurassic Park..."

It's such a wonderful CD for moody writing. I love it already. I'm listening to it now in the windows media player using the Ambience/Water visualization, playing it via direct digital extraction, thus circumventing the inferior DAC in my DVDROM. Fantastic stuff...

It's a bit short though, that's my only complaint. But if you happen to like classic music and orchestral soundtracks, this is definitely a CD to recommend.
