But after reading the messages between yourself and Rin, I decided to go check a few things out for myself.

The broken images? Bullshit. You're vindicated in this respect. I checked every page on your site I could find and every image loaded. I had little time to do this so I just opened every link in a new window Smile Of course there may have been trouble with them loading when Rin viewed the site, as we all know the Internet is NOT a perfect place. But still, you were right here.

As for images hosted on another site? Sorry Tim but she caught you on this one. Visit your "Links" page. The Long Dark Foundation, specifically. You are loading that image from the LDF site. Simple to fix, but it's there.

As for the COPPA policy and privacy policy, no you don't have one. And I'm too damn lazy and don't have time to go check out the RIN award criteria so that'll just have to wait.

For work created by other people, well yeah there is a poem by a long dead author. But your "Inspiration" page kinda maybe does violate this a little. Again I didn't have time to look through it all but just taking a cursory glance, seems so.

And the sophisticated theme? Please, define to me "sophisticated theme" because that seems a very general term. If it's defined on the RIN award page then forgive my ignorance, again I had little time to view it all.

And as for lacking a central theme? Again, definitions. But judging from what I would call a "central theme" you do seem to have that covered.

So there was one mistake. From a webmaster's viewpoint I think that is kinda bullshit and puh-leaze gimme a break. But from an award creators standpoint, you have to follow your criteria to the letter. Otherwise why have it in the first place?

Just my .88 Thai Baht (0.15 francs, 43.52 lira, 0.04 marks, 0.19 pesos, 0.01 pounds, 0.93 rupees, 0.58 rubles, 0.31 schillings, 0.88 Thai Baht, 2.46 yen, $.02) on the matter.
