When scanning goes wrong, tonight on Fox

A few of you have managed to stop laughing long enough to send word of this horrifically humorous formula for disaster: 11 year-old girl + old scanner + innocent idea = call the fire department. The young girl was hoping to capture a scan of her face, but somehow, some way (it's difficult for me to imagine), her upper lip got stuck and pulled partially around a roller. The fire brigade managed to release her from the jaws of the scanner, lip intact.

"This kind of accident is not something we've come across before," said a spokeswoman for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. "It goes without saying that it's not a good idea to put parts of your body into a computer scanner, but then kids will be kids."

Well, at least it was a girl. I'm sure in a parallel universe there's a 13-year old boy who had a much more foolish project in mind.

Yeah. Kids may be kids, but boys will certainly be boys!

 LOL!

Take care now, and people - do stay away from them malicious scanners, alright?
