At http://www.voy.com/12478/ is a large post with an article that includes a discussion about age of consent among other things. The guys there have asked me to invite comments. Originally I declined, because I am bored with being flamed every time I post about age of consent anywhere but here! However I have decided not to allow the threat of flames to spoil a decent debate.

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
