Why do people make mistakes? And why do they hurt so much?

People say you're supposed to learn from mistakes. But I haven't learned from my mistakes. I only get pain. Perhaps one lesson I've learned is "don't tell a guy that you like him", if that's even a lesson. It's not even a good lesson, anyway.

3 months, 10 days. *sigh*

You can tell someone you like them. He just wasn't the right guy. When the right guy comes along, it won't be a mistake; it will be the best thing that ever happened to you. Just be yourself, Tommy and let someone find you. Don't be in such a hurry Smile

Mistakes happen.........and you did learn from that one. You learned that you have to have patience. Time will bring you what you want and in the meantime, your friends are there for you and we're here too Smile

Hey YOU,

Dude, I don't think anyone could have put it any better than smith just did. Give things some time.

Why do you think you made a mistake? Some things may be hard on us, but that doesn't mean it was a wrong thing to do. I believe your experience was meant as a learning experience, even though you don't really consider it as one. I've found that to truly learn from an experience you need to fully accept it for what it was, you need to "get over it" (although I hate that phrase). You still have wounds from your experience with Conor and while those wounds exist you will worry too much about your pain to truly realise the lesson that was meant to be learnt. Some day though, once the wounds have healed you will realise something and while it may not be a great revelation, it will mean something, not in your head, but in your heart. I wish there was a way I could help heal your wounds, but I scarcely know how to heal my own, it is just something that time will fix, though...

I was just a little depressed last night. Whenever I get depressed, I usually think about Conor. It happens.

Usually when I'm not depressed, I'm over Conor (Lord knows some of you know that I have better things to focus on Wink). But when I get depressed, usually at night, he's the one I think of. Oh well, I apologize for that outburst of mine...

Hope you are at least slightly amused. Seriously, it's okay to vent. Just think: How many girls will Conor have a crush on that won't want anything to do with him! Heh heh. Maybe when it happens he will think of you. * H U G * Oh, and I think we've just about ALL been there, for what that's worth.
