One who has not posted here for some time, nor has emailed me for some time, is in Iraq. Not as a soldier. It is his home.

I will not name him lest anything may befall him in these awkward times. I do not want thsi to be a "war" thread either. I just want him to know, if he can get here, that I think of him a lot.

He was trying to work with me to help an Iranian friend leave Iran. It might just have been possible via Iraq, but somehow we doubted it.
