Megaman worked behind the scenes this morning and made some serious code changes to make all services work again. So, we have the board, the site search engine, the mailing list, and every other damned thing is working. To thank him there is a link at the foot of the main page of the board.

We have been close to strangling our supplier.

Timmy-all the complaints are the same-----unable to post because of error. At least seven posters all have said the same thing. And when we do see our posts appear, usually they are repeated several times.Possibly out of frustration. With all due respect, perhaps MEGAMAN needs YOUR supervision. rob

Actually he does not. The person who needs the supervision is the senior administrator of the web host. The perosn who solves all the problems is megaman. And he will be mightily pissed whenhe sees that message.

And what I need is not "they are all the same." I need the error message the board give you, please.

Actually it is easy to misplace the blame if you miss the point that WE, megaman and I wish to strangle our supplier.

But the apology is enough

And because he doesn't normally read the board - e-mail would be much better than a post and there's a link at the bottom of the board main page, last time I looked.

You have no idea how hard he has worked and how frustrated he and I have both been with the web host.

We only have a temporary fix. in "1-2 months" all will change again!

Ah well
