Then you'd be totally legal! Of course living in Finnland you've already been totally legal for the last few years so it's no big deal Wink Of course 21 is still a cool year because it sort of means you've completed the teen->adult transition. Best of luck for the future, mate and hope you have a great day!

I'll just have to turn this chocolate fudge cake I'm baking into a birthday cake. Tons of chocolate in the cake, chocolate ganash frosting, chocolate flakes on top. Of course it'll be served with chocolate ice cream. and now with 21 candles.

Think good thoughts,

I feel like saying "You didn't!" (about posting a happy birthday message), but it's rather obvious you did, smith. Thank You Smile

And Thank You for everyone else, too Smile

Saben, yes, I'm more or less supposed to have completed the teen->adult transition, but I think I won't turn into an adult just yet... Not any more than I have to, anyway. Wink

And e, thanks for the cake Smile I feel like blowing your wicks is a trick question, though it appears that wick is an actual word... Oh well, as long as I'm actually blowing out candles... Wink

Setras

PS: Oh, and something that just hit me... If you dip the wick first in parafin, and then in pure chocolate, that actually might work... I mean, the parafin would cause the wick to burn and the chocolate should melt. Hmmm....

My God...21 years old...

I remember my 21st. 1973, and quite relieved that I had gotten a nice high draft lottery number so I didn't have to visit Southeast Asia before I came on my own behalf.

I was a Junior at University. Still almost all the way inside the closet. I was the smart, funny, chubby one over in the corner, had never had a boyfriend yet.

And meeting my Man in Thailand was still about 20 years away...

Jeez. Lotta memories there.

So, Setras, what did you do to celebrate? Did anybody get to give you the traditional 21 slaps on the bottom?

We talked yesterday and you didn't tell me you're turning 21? Shame on you Setras, you know how much I care!

Hugs and love, I hope you enjoy yourself.

You should ask Cutie to blow your wick, doesn't that sound like a tempting proposition...? Wink

...but I thought you already knew... Well, not much of an excuse, but at this point it sort of can't be helped anymore. And yes, I wouldn't be entirely opposed to Cutie blowing my wick. (And for those who don't know, I've been going to a gay student club at my uni for a few weeks now, and there's a Cutie there that I sort of like, sadly though, I don' know him very well yet.)

And Brian, don't worry, you're not late, atleast not by the time of the board. The "great" day was April 16th.

And a big Thank You for those who've posted after my previous thank you.

And the birthday itself? Well, I had fun. I wasn't planning on celebrating it much, but my friends had organised a surprise party for me! Smile Sadly though, I figured out what they were up to about 30 seconds too soon, so them yelling "Surprise!" wasn't really a surprise. Oh well, can't have everything.
