And I couldn't help but pass it on.
The essence of the irreverent and irrepressible spirit of Youth.
Two boys were walking home from Sunday school after
hearing a strong preaching on the devil. One said to the other,
"What do you think about all this Satan stuff?"
The other boy replied, "Well, you know how Santa Claus
turned out. It's probably just your dad."
Gotta love it.

Same friend...not too long ago sent this one, too...
The Lone Ranger and Tonto are camping in the desert, set up their tent and
are asleep. Some hours later, The Lone Ranger wakes his faithful
friend.
"Tonto, look up at the sky and tell me what you see."?
Tonto replies,"Me see millions of stars."
"What does that tell you?" asks The Lone Ranger.
Tonto ponders for a minute.
"Astronomically speaking, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets.
Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo.
Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three.
Theologically, it's evident the Lord is all powerful and we are small and insignificant.
Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow.
What it tell you, Kemo Sabi?"
The Lone Ranger is silent for a moment, then says, "Tonto, you idiot, someone has stolen our tent."
And for yet more Geezer bonus points, who played the Lone Ranger on that old TV show??

I'll give her the geeszer points, though she will prolly swat me one Clayton Moore
Another Lone Ranger Joke:
The Lone Ranger and Tonto are riding through one of the many canyons out west when suddenly, rising from the hill on their right, are hundreds of fierce Indians.
They start to spur their horses forward, when they realize that there are hundreds of Indians ahead of them. Wheeling to the left, they see hundreds of Indians crouched with bows and arrows. They try to retreat and see that they are surrounded. The Indians had spread out and they were trapped.
The Lone Ranger turns to Tonto, his life long friend and companion and says, "Tonto, my friend. I think I must say that I have treasured our times together, but I think we are doomed."
"We?" replied Tonto. "What's with all this "we" stuff, Paleface?"

Yup, Clayton Moore it was. And Jay Silverheels was Tonto. They provided my young teen-aged hormones a good outlet as I began to figure out what a male couple might look like...
Then there was Batman and Robin...what were THOSE actors' names?
And there was also the Green Lantern (or was that the Green Hornet??) and Kato...with Kato being played by a young and VERY cute Bruce Lee in it's first season.
Any other "duos" from the past that should be mentioned in this little Hall of Fame?

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

He was my second favorite TV horse...
Of course, I loved "Trigger" better. Evidently Roy Rogers did, as well, since Roy had Trigger stuffed when he passed away...and supposedly kept him at his ranch in Southern California. I hope somebody dusted him off once in a while...

Now, all you children run along and play while us Geezers set on the porch in our rocking chairs and reminise for a few minutes.
"The Rifleman" was one of the things I lived for between 1958 and 1963. I was love-struck by that boi when I was 6 years old. I thought he was waaaay cuter than Timmy (Capitol T) on "Lassie."
Chuck Connors was the best Dad on TV before Ben Cartwright settled down on the Ponderosa with all HIS handsome sons.
Lucas McCain and his son Mark (!!!) McCain. Played by Johnny Crawford, who started out as a Mickey Mouse Club Mouseketeer in 1955.
Wanna see pics, Marc?
