Very nice to meet you. Pull up a chair and stay awhile.

Sounds like Andy is a good friend! So true, for others of us here as well.

I thought at first that you might be using English as a second language and translating in your head as you write (as some others of the regulars here do). Some languages don't have specific words denoting "his" and "her" or "he" and "she". My partner in Thailand is always getting "he" and "she" mixed up when he's speaking in English and thinking in Thai.

But your bio says you're in Pennsylvania. Cool! My great-grandfather lived in Easton, PA (near the NJ border) at the turn of the 20th century...he had the first car in that town. Course I never met him, waaay before even MY time. But I have seen the pics and the article in the local newspaper at the time!

Also Derek most definilty is from the US hehe and English is not a second launguage bad derek tsk tsk Razz Oh wells back to the scullery for me. See yall later.

Thanks for the welcome Tim. It wasn't hard to find my way here. Andy left a trail of bread crumbs for me.

This reminds me of one of my nephews - we stayed with the inlaws last weekend. He's 9 and is the cutest boy - blond curly hair and a cherub face and he's just an angel in every way. He's taking break-dancing lessons now. Anyway, my own 9 yo son has always called him a "her" - not that they spend much time together, but he doesn't have his problem with other boys.

So I mentioned the finger-length thing - how most guys have ring fingers significantly longer than their pointer fingers, whereas most gals don't. Well, this boy's was the same length as his pointer - maybe because he's still young, or maybe the "test" is not infallible? Of course that got us talking about transexuals . . .

*Hugs*, my friend! Smile

My ring finger is just a little shorter than my pointer. Interpret that any way you like. Very Happy

Personally, I just think it's pretty much random genetics. Some have longer ring fingers than pointers and some have shorter...

Did you really talk about transsexuals with your nine y/o? LOL, hehehe! And how cute is it that he calls a guy "she"? WOW! Smile
