Follow the link and tell me what you think of this commercial. I think it's just so cool. Is it even possible? The makers claim it is.

Sure beats the old game of dominos. I liked it.

Cool deal......first time I ever clicked on a 'cog' Smile I love all those neat gadgety things.

I scrolled down and clicked on "quicktime version' and it took me to Google. I clicked where it said quicktime download but it took me to an entirely different Honda commercial. This commercial was noted by GLAAD and Honda edited it. This took me to a website called http://www.commercialcloset.org. I decided to see what the commercial was. Here is the synopsis:

Joe is investigating various career opportunities...working for a home siding company, owning a hotdog stand, working for a plastics company, joining a pyramid scheme, becoming a rancher of emus.

The narrator says "Lots of career opportunites, one car. Make it a good one"

The last career choice is working on a fishing boat. An old sailor says "Twelve men. One boat. What could be better?" Then the old sailor puts his hand on Joe's shoulder and Joe looks down at the hand.

GLAAD asked Honda to edit out the hand on shoulder shot to make the ad less judgemental. Honda agreed.

Interesting site......How I got there from the whirlimagiggie cogs, I do not know Smile
Yet another place...Especially if you need to laugh...  [message #10357 is a reply to message #10356] Sat, 10 May 2003 15:47 Go to previous messageGo to next message

you know what was wierd, if you saw the whole commercial, is when the tires go up the ramp by themselves. It made wonder how it was possible.

I'm boysitting today.....Friends of my parents are here for the weekend with their 3 year old. I asked my Mama if she wanted a 3 year old and I got "the look".
Anyway, he is just with me, staring at me and begging me to play Smile We have built a dam (damn good dam builders), ridden Tinker, watered my garden and ........this is soooo funny.... he filled his socks with mud. I asked why and he said he liked mud. Hahaha !! I dragged out my Legos and we built cars and stuff. I remember when I was little, I built stuff that looked like nothing but I thought it was cool Smile
Do you know how much stuff there is for Bob the Builder? I wish I owned stock. He brought his entire train and books and backpack and sneakers and shirts and on and on...........
So, David, I played him the laughter.......He started laughing and I have to keep playing it over and over. He wants to talk to the baby. Kids are so neat !! I need a nap !! I'm exhausted!

Yes kids are great. I'm glad you are having so much fun. I have newphew, his about 4 years old. I'm haven't have to fun to play with him lately. I remember when he was a baby, he was so cute. It's surprising how quickly they grow, although they bother you more, buts its okay, i can deal with that.

Did anyone else have that game when they were young? or old? I used to love it, but hardly ever got it to work right.

Think good thoughts,
