May I take a stab at a couple of them?
The "black box" is an easily-visible orange.
The "Canary Islands" question is a trick question: the Canary Islands are in the Atlantic Ocean, not the Pacific (to paraphrase a line from a Bugs Bunny cartoon, "Thought you'd outsmarted us, eh little chum?" [ ])
I'll be sure to tune in for the rest of the answers!

I love questions...........
#3 I know this one from my tennis racket - catgut comes from sheep and hog intestines - synthetic now
#8 A purple finch is really red - I used to have parakeets
#10 Yeah, the black box is really neon orange - read that somewhere
#9 Chinese gooseberries are another name for Kiwi, so I'd have to say Australia or New Zealand - learned that on the food channel
#2 I "Asked Jeeves" about Panama hats and he sent me to the David Morgan website........I just ordered my dad a Panama Bush Walker for Father's Day Super looking hat....anyway, I learned they are made in Ecuador.

After much thought, I have decided to answer with the following:
#1 I suppose that could be done, but it sounds like it would be burying someone alive, and that's not very nice...
#2 I don't know if it's possible in California, and to be honest, I'm ready to believe just about anything about the US... But here it isn't possible for a dead man to marry someone.
#3 Polar bear colored. Which, I personally think should be pink with green dots, but I didn't have a say when it was decided... *sigh*
#4 I would assume he weighs meat, but I dunno... I've never been to a butcher shop.
Setras
PS. If you're looking for an explanation for the very bad attempts at humor, read on.... Well, the explanation is: It's 6.42 AM and I'm just about to turn in for the night. Or day. Or something. And if you're still reading, please, get a life...
That which is dreamed can never be lost, can never be undreamed.
