Possibly "My Beautiful Launderette", 1985, takes place in South London, the "Paki" boy has to dodge an arrangement with a cousin, I think. he was actually in love with Daniel Day Lewis, so got a better deal, to my way of thinking...hehehe

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

But I have more movies, etc. for your list...which I'll post over the week-end.
That will help me avoid sorting papers and files and doing change of address cards...ugh!

Any ideas? I have never seen the film. I decided not to see it because of the scene where the young boy is forced to go be circumcised.

Timmy, not to break up a thread here, but perhaps you'd best click on IM and give me a moment. Something important has come to my attention.
