Thanks for posting the article, M Smile

Our computer teacher let us play games on Fridays and he said that kids that play attention skill games are much more aware of what's going on around them. The more you play, the better you get at peripheral vision stuff that helps with driving and just knowing what's going on around you.

Is the violence and the danger necessary to the games? Yeah....cause who'd wanna just keep sitting there blowing up meteors or racing cars? When I play, I AM fighting off the vampires and the zombies. Makes your adrenalin rush Smile Haha! My Mama calls it "hormone control".

She figures if I'm up here yelling at blood dripping fangy zombies, I'm workin' off what she refers to as "nervous energy".....nervous energy being anything to do with sex.

says smith, tapping his fingers over and over on the desktop Smile
I did a lot of that...  [message #10750 is a reply to message #10748] Fri, 30 May 2003 22:03 Go to previous messageGo to next message

The article mentions that Role-playing games don't do anything for you- what a lie that is! Role-playing games (at least console RPGs) from my observations seem to turn people gay! Just look at the final fantasy games- there are so many attractive male characters you can't help but drool and find them sexy. From my observations it seems to be that definately more than 10% of avid male RPGs are gay, it seems to be more like 30%. This is far from being conclusive, but it is something I noticed.

PS. It was attractive male RPG characters that was a trigger for me recognising my gayness.

Look at this tree. I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time [...] No matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.

...From Final Fantasy X is THE CUTEST videogame male bar none. EVER. Smile

Hhee, I always imagined Sabin and Gau from FF6 to be a couple too, hehehe. They seemed to have a wonderful relationship! Smile
