Really getting into it

None of you guys go to my school but every year they put out an art and literary journal called Impact. There was some cool stuff in this year so I thought I woudl share it with you. The first is done by my brother Jon and it impressed me.

There is a quiet, which simply is
When all the cars have forsaken the streets;
Have brought their disparate divers back
Home again.

There is a quiet, which laughs to itself
In those first timid hours of morning,
When the sounds of mechanical
converstaion
have ceased.

There is quiet, which echoes
Abscence, which is all that is left
For us. And it is in that quiet that we
Find truth

I...

i...
Honor blooming flowers
violet and red
I...
Dream oppurtunity
I...
Sadden as you love
and punish in rage
I...
Ring the evening thunder
Being destiny
I...
Place before you
punishing change
I...
Sing my silent melody
Over glistening sky
I...

All my other favorites were short stories or art work...
peace and trees

Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?

I like them both but Jon's is really great. Quiet is a really really good thing.........especially when you can't find it all day and then night comes and everything hushes.
