Hi everyone I had so much fun today. Brenda and I took the bus to the mall . See I have never taken the bus before it was great!! The bus driver was all nice to me and was talking to me while he drove and stuff. So yeah we went and I got two new books. Then when we got bakc on the bus it was the same one as before! The guy looked at me and he was like I rememebr you two you were on here before then we sat down and he talked to us again on the way home it was coolie! So I got On eflew over the Cuckoos nest By Ken Kesey and Cat's Cradle by kurt Vonnegut

It's nice reading your tales about your daily life, even a bus trip to the mall becomes interesting and makes me smile! Please continue. Very Happy

How was the dance? Please say something about that too, it would be fun hearing stuff about it!

One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest is one of my favorite books AND one of my favorite movies. Usually I hate the movie after reading the book, but not this time. Ken Kesey was one very wild dude back in his day. He toured the country in a green (or was it blue?) bus with a bunch of crazies who called themselves the Merry Pranksters. Apparently there was lots of LSD and wild and crazy parties. A few arrests too, I think.

Think good thoughts,

Im sorry I dont have a happy tale to tell you all about my dress rehearsal tonight. I'm like ready to cry that was the single worst practise of my life! I mean I did fine my mom even commented that my arm motions and aactions are so much more graceful now. My class however God. My jazz routine was horrendous my whole class spaced pout for the entire routine. Plus 4 people didnt show up for dress rehearsal. The soudn system malfunctioned Ballet was disastoruous with collisions between the spinners in front (me ) and the leapers in back becuase they were on the wrong row. God one girl has no concept of spacing. This guy and this one girl just talked and talked and talked for ever!! I honestly don't believe the shut up once They talked through the dance. Im sorry you guys I'm so bad and need to go ice my knee catch yall later.

I'm glad you survived as taking the bus can be a little scary, you see many should i call them "interesting things". But that was nothing for what happened near my house. Believe or not a plane crashed a few blocks away from where i live. I happend a few minutes before i got home, so i did not get to see it. And yeah i am still alive.

I need to go out side, there is a total comotion out there, it's crazy.

The more horrid the dress rehearsal, the better the show Smile
I really think that's true.
I was in 'Our Town', the senior play, and the rehearsals got worse and worse until people were in tears. The lights wouldn't work, no one knew their lines, the backdrop fell down...........hahahaha !! The dress rehearsal was the total worst !! But, the night of the show, everyone came through and it was smooth and great Smile
Hang in there, Andy. You'll be better than....ummmm....Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing >>giggle<< I don't know any other dancers to name but he is sorta Yaaa!!

Hey veryone. I just got back from my recital and aying goodbye to Steve yes hecame all the wy up to see me Smile So for the most part it went well. I did my dances correctly so I was happy. mY ankle is a little swwollen so I have an ice pck on it. For the most part however it went well and I smiled.. Everyone was happy and clapped. I did my cartwheel into a split and steve clapped and cheered for me Smile Jazz went ok In comparison to last nights dress rehearsal it was stupendous a stunnign display of our talents. We were pleased for the most part. I wish more of my class would smile though.

I'm glad that the show went well, Andy! Smile Though the idea of doing a cartwheel into a split is a big ouch for me... Also, I think smith has a point in saying that the worse the dres rehearsal, the better the show.

AWESOME to perform in front of your boyfriend.

Remember the final scenes from the film? Older Billy, on stange, and the other lad, who loved him, watching?

He was dressed in a stereotypically gay manner, and had some african-english boyfriend also dressed as though they were the ones on stage...

Incidently Third Fence Post (trying to watch the Netiquette), I already congratulated you on your performance via IM, but again I say great job, I've very proud of how you went Smile

"African English" is an interesting term. The last time I noticed our communities that come from Africa and from the Caribbean were black Smile

I have friends in the USA who are black, too.

BTW the lad in the film quite liked cross dressing. Totally non stereotypical, since most TVs are not gay Smile My cousin who enjoys women's clothes is very clear that he's str8.
