I take care of animals that are hurt....I have cages for them that I build and I keep them til they can make it by themselves. Animals like raccoons and rabbits and squirrels and birds. I have a little cardinal that broke the top part of his beak and I have to crush up his seeds and corn.
Anyway, a neighbor brought me a big crow with a broken wing. He's in a cage now and finally calm. I think I can splint his wing but he'll have to relax first. Wish me luck!! I'll ask the vet tomorrow what to do. My job is really fun, at least the animals are.

Way cool smith. I can barely tell how to fix myself I would never know what to do with a small critter. Plus I'd be too scared to get bitten oh wells best of luck with the crow tomorrow

You must get so attatched to some of the animals. I hope things go well with the crow. *giggles at the thought of raccoons* that's nearly as silly an idea as having snow at Christmas time Razz

Look at this tree. I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time [...] No matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.

Cool with all the animals and all. Maybe the crow would relax with a little bird-type downers...avian xanax?

And yup, of course I knew you would go look up the Internet thingie...I counted on it!

Wow smith. Smile

That's really cool. How do you find these animals, or do they come to you and talk jive n stuff til you relent and treat them, like in that Eddie Murphy movie? Very Happy

No seriously, that's way cool to hear...

I like squirrels btw, they sort of flow whenever they move, like a living wave. So graceful and agile! They run up and down the trunks of trees like a drop of mercury, like it's so totally easy... Man, to be able to do that, I'd give almost anything for such an ability! Smile
