At long last the final chapter of a Journey of Love has been posted. This story was the first ever piece of romantic gay literature I read and probably one that helped shape me the most.

The final chapter really did justice to the entire story, I was overwhelmed with emotion, my eyes were watering on a number of occasions and for someone that doesn't cry (but from the looks of things is slowly learning how to) that's an accomplishment to be proud of.

Reading through the strong friendships and true, pure love between not just the two main characters, but the other boys, the other characters. It makes me smile, but at the same time makes me feel a twinge of envy. Stories are usually quite pleasant, though, they are own ideal lives, in a lot of cases. Anyway, for those that have not read the story yet, I suggest you start, for those eagerly anticipating the next and final chapter it has arrived. The story can be found here: http://www.theglassonion.org/stories.html

Look at this tree. I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time [...] No matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.

Huh? Looks up in surprise...

Gack! Dropping everything and running right over there to get it and read NOW!!

It comes close to the film, "Stand By Me" in many ways.
