Hello all of you guys here. I am home for one day and have been running around posting at the many boards I belong to. Smile

It is so good to see that so many are still posting and that the place appears to be full of happy people. I was sorta surprized to see that the boards are mostly ok and that they are still going. When I left this one was having some hiccups but am so glad that it appears to be all settled.

Hello Tim (Dad) I hope you are doing well and by now have got a job? Smile and to all the other members, smith and Trev and Marc and Rick and Rob and and and Smile

I have come across some very sad people where I am and one in particular who is the closest to a friend. He has multiple personalities. He is 17 and sometimes he can be a 10 yr old and a 15 yr old and a 20 yr old. It is confusing sometimes and the voice is different also. Scary to hear different voices from the same body. He has been abused since he was 10 and was raped from age 11 till last year. He ha anal reconstruction surgery and has brain damage from being bashed.

I always thought that I had things a little hard but compared to some of the ppl there, I have had a small hiccup on the road of life. I dont believe it is worse or better just that they appear to have had a larger share of terror and bad things is all. I am learning a lot there and hope soon that I can find a solution to some of my stuff.

I will be back soon I hope and annoying everyone. Smile Hugs for you all and Peace, lots of it.

Ashley D, (Roo master) hehe

However hard it is to rememebr, that each perosn who is abused suffers 100% of his or her own pain. There is nothing greater than 100%, so a comparison between degrees of abuse is not useful.

Others have had more horrible experiences than you and less horroible. That does not mean your own experiences are more or less unpleasant than you feel. Just different from theirs.

Multiple Personality is a marvellous refuge from emotional pain. UNfortunately many peole do not understand the sanctuary it provides and try to "cure" what is not necessary to be cured without the "system's" consent.

http://www.astraeasweb.net/plural/personal.html may help those who don't understand the phenomenon to get more to grips with it.

As for me, no "job" per se, but I am working freelance.

GREAT to see you.

It's so great to hear from you, Ashley Smile I hope everything is working out for you and you'll be back soon to show us all your smiling face Smile

A hiccup......I like that. I tend to think of mine as a rather rude burp. And, yeah, no matter what the history, no matter what we think, there are always people with much worse problems. Hang in there, Ashley. You are loved Smile

I keep you in my thoughts anyway but every time I see a kangaroo, I grin Smile

Hi Ashley,
I know you dont know me but many people have advised me to seek advice from you. Ive asked for help and advice on this board, and have gotten lots, but no one has been through stuff that I have been through, so people said to talk to you because you have. Im 14, have had an awful past, and need help. Im sure that you can help(or says Timmy, Shem, and Lenny). Anyways, when you do get back from where ever you are or are going, can you please email me or something.

Take some back to share with your new friends, okay? Great to hear from you!

Garrett - I hope you are patient - not like me! I think Ash has been offline over a month now (geezer memory warning) and I'll bet he has load of messages to catch up on when he does eventually come back.

We haven't really talked much, but you've always been a cool guy that's been around and I'm happy to hear from you. Things since you left have been maybe a little quiet, but recently picked up and are going nicely, I think.

Jake had a close friend that had multiple personalities, I only saw one, the others seldom manifested themselves, but yeah, he was a cool, albeit slightly messed up guy.

It's pretty sad the stuff that happens to people, but please pass our love, support and cyber hugs along to them all.

As timmy said, you just can't compare bad stuff in life. What you went through was hard for you, that's all that matters, each person goes through their own personal hell at sometime in life, and each must try and work at turning it into positive growth experience as much as possible.

Thanks for taking care of things back in Aus with me while I'm here in Japan. It's nice to know that I'm not going to go back and find the place in ruins, because Ash is there looking after it Smile

Anyway, hope things are going well and I'm glad you and Garrett can talk; hopefully it will be a good experience for both of you. Anyway, talk to you later some time.
-Shem
