No names at all. But someone has been driven away from here. He also left my email list earlier. He emailed me to say why, but not what, not who. But someone caused him to go.

I don't find that pleasing in any way at all.

There is nothinhg wrong with a disagreement here. There is something wrong when someone packs his bags and leaves and tells me he was driven away.

So let us think a little, please, and deal with ourselves.

That is so sad. I really think that you should tell the person who drove the other person away, but not telling the name publicly. Thats awful. I am going to really think about what I say now so that I dont do anything to drive people away. Huh.

to our lost friend, I don't know what or who made you leave, but I hope you left on your own terms, not because someone else made you feel unwelcome. I hope that one day you may return to us, give the rest of us a fair shake.

to everyone else, I don't know if I've affronted anyone, but let me say now, it was never my intent.

to our friend who may have hurt someone else without realizing it, I can only ask that you remember what it might be like to be on the receiving end of your own wrath.

to myself, don't ever post anything without thinking how it's gonna affect someone else or on what that effect might be.

to Timmy, I know your heart is hurting now, my friend, but in time, things will come round. You'll see.

It may also have been someone "from" here who was unpleasant behind the scenes. Simply be yourself, anbd be gentle

This virtual place has a long term purpose for some, and short term one for others. In itself that is a good thing. I mind that a person has been driven away.

I am not even functioning today with Ginnie's horrible death. She was just a cat, but I love her

I have read the posts and replies going back some 4 pages of archives....

I have not seen anything that might be awful to cause an untoward exit....

Did I miss something....????

Or is this the result of something which happened elsewhere?

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Oddly I am unsure. It was stated to me in a way that make sit impossible to reveal what went on.

The end result of "whatever it was" has caused "whoever it is" to say that "whoever they were" has driven him off.

I think it was not a public spat, but some other behaviour that created the problem. But that the board had a part in it.

Well,

I hardly ever talk with people any more.... Just one or two....

I hope it wasn't something I said or did....

I very much doubt it was you, marc. And if it was I hope he says so to you quietly and directly.
