Sooo.
All done at the office. I have not been an employee there for almost 9 hours now.
All finished packing and shipping. The stuff is all crated up and will have a sea voyage for the next couple-three weeks. Said my final good-byes to the flat I lived in for more than 5 years.
Last night was a wonderful transition. Before dinner, I sat in my 5 star hotel room and watched the sun set over Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour whilst the twinkling lights began to appear on that fabulous sky-line.
After eating a Maine lobster (yes, they import them in tanks even this far away) with the people taking over my job (2 of them, as it happens), and turning over all the rest of my keys, I went back to the grand and lovely room. Took a long luxurious bath with bubbles and salts (couldn't decide which, so used both...hey, why not?!).
Then I watched the second Harry Potter movie on pay-per-view. Or rather, I began watching it. But fell asleep after about 20 minutes, near as I can tell. Woke up after 2am, shut the TV off, and went back to dream-land.
Now I am spending some time with you lovely people.
In a moment, I'll go have too much to eat at the amazing breakfast buffet.
Then I'll catch my limo to the airport, and the flight to Thailand is at 12:45pm.
Man won't be meeting me at the airport..he is not yet back from being with his family after his father's death. But he will arrive either tonight or tomorrow.
And then the rest of our lives will begin anew.
Starting with those massages. Man will need one, too, I'm sure!
And thanks again to all my many friends on this MB, whether currently lurking or posting. I look forward to learning about the world of IM'ing in a ferw weeks.
All is well!
My next posts will have to be with a new location in my screen-name, huh?

An authentic Maine lobster dinner half a world away! It must have cost a "pretty penny", but you certainly deserve it! I hope I can (at long last) partake of an authentic Thai dinner at that restaurant near Symphony Hall in Boston on one of my concert trips next season.
I can't wait to see what your new screen name is going to be.
Again (as always), all the best to you and Man!!!
