Hows about collecting a list of GOOD authors.Writers of the WELL TOLD story.Writers that have influenced our lives by their stories.Writers who made us cry.writers that have made us laugh.Writers that have filled our hearts with joy and enlightenment.Writers who by word have shown the joys AND horrors of being gay.Surely this would be a project worthy of our attention and endevor.What do you think..?....rob

I agree, although I can't think of them all at one time, or in any particular order.

And of course, some people like what other's may not, but a list is a good idea, with those provisos.

Nick Archer is a great writer, writing about families made up of gay adults and gay youth (not having sex with each other).

Other stories on his Archerland website are also excellent. "The Human Condition" and "Along For the Ride" are favorites of mine.

As I said, others will occur to me as time goes by.

Robert Heinlein was one of my earliest influences. So was Madeline L'Engle. But I've also had a great deal of respect for the writing of Chris Claremont.

Recently I've been a fan of Dean Koontz, too.
