So there we were, Tom and me, chatting away, minding our own business, when out of the blue, each of us (and each unbeknownst to the other) got a chat invitation from this person who called himself "thirdfencepost".

Andy is now enjoying the sights, sounds and cuisine of Italy; but he still misses "home" so much that again he had to seek out a cyber cafe in order to touch base (it seems circumstances prevented him from coming here and posting himself). He asked me to say hi to everybody at "APOS", that he is having a blast, but that he still misses you all, and can't wait to get home and regale us with stories of his adventures.

He'll be flying back next Saturday (July 26). As terrific as it is that he has had this marvelous chance to experience such an awesome journey, I think we can all agree that it will be just as terrific to have him back home and back with us.

As Andy would say if he were able to post himself: Peace and trees.

Thanks for the continuing up-dates, Ron! It's good to know our friend is safe and happy. I LOVE Italy...the history, the people, the pasta...hehe. I'm sure it's more fun than Switzerland might have been for him. Beautiful country, but I found the people reserved and a bit formal. The fondue was good...

Jeez, I sound like I ate my way thru Europe...well, I might have done...hehehe

hi yall... it is almost midnight here so i am the only person on here actually hooray. while i was alone i figured i would come post to yall. i actually had a fairly bad day today. becuase as some of you know i am not to fond of italy but i do love to hike., so we are hiking a stretch along cinque terra and it was all good i am a baszillion feet in front of the others because i ran the entire trail. we get to the end and there are 6 of us. 3 dont want to walk back but wnat me to and 2 of us wanna the third was an adult so he didnt count Smile

and so i am already to walk the next few miles back to our home for the night. when are stupid leader says i have been out voted and i cnat go. i was so mad i sat alone outside our hostel for like 2 1/2 hours beforew coming in to eat dinner witthoyt speaking to the other Sad

it was so not cxool. is it so hard to just let me hike??!! ugg anyway besides that it was an ok day. my feet still hurt like mofos from getting all bashed up and cut in the ocean. so i didnt go in but i sat in the shade and got all covered in sand and drew a picture in my journal.

i met this guy doug here but he left this morning i was kinda sad. he was like hitting on mje. but wee were jsut being friemnds bescause we were btoh really lonely here so we played games together like monopoly and chess and all that cool stuff. i was so depressed when he left this morning. i gave him a hug good bye Smile

ah wells i have his email address so i will catch up to him i guess.

where are all my friends and millions of emails Razz

just kidding but seriously where is brian and shem and everyone. i havent heard from anyone but tom and ron . well you guys all know i heard from those two Smile

yuckie porks but i was hungry!mmm all the pastries... *starts drooling* what else have i had chickens, some turkey, salads,uhhh COOKIES!!!, biscuts, chocolate, bratwurst... andy was in need of a large 200g sausage Razz

yes they all had to make fun of me for it Smile

pig liver.... (an ordering mistake in germany on my part oops...) hmm what else was there... so much food so little time.... so as you can see food is a very essential part of this trip. all of our actions revolve around our food consumption. Smile
