That's great news, Steve Smile They're right; the $$$ discounts are neat but the fact that the powers that be are acknowledging same sex couples will open the door for more legal changes. I know you're proud and you have every right to be :)Smile

That's good news. It's about time non-traditional family units were being recognized.

Unfortunately here in the States, our most wonderfully enlightened President was quoted today "I believe a marriage is between a man and a woman. And I think we ought to codify that one way or the other. And we've got lawyers looking at the best way to do that."

Perhaps Dubya's legislation will be the catalyst for a challenge in the Court system. If declared unconstitutional, it could pave the way for gay marriages.
